Attack of the Killer Fleas
So, my cat has fleas... I already got some horrible chemical to put on the back of his head, and it seems to be working, cause now, instead of HIM having fleas, they're abondoning cat, and my house has fleas...
Any advice on how to get rid of them?

Is this one of the "spot" style flea treatments? The one we have for our dogs kills the fleas, so we don't have to worry about them jumping off into the house. Sounds like yours is more of a repellant.
You should be able to get a "flea bomb" that will take care of the little blood-sucking things of evil. It's basically a can of poison that you open in your house and leave to fumigate the place. You'll have to evacuate your house for a day; can't leave the cat or any other pets inside. You'll probably want to air it out for a couple of hours after the fumigation, too. Should eliminate them, though. Any place that sells pesticides should have them. If you have a large house, you may need more than one.

Yeah, it was a "spot" style one, it actually seems to be working pretty well, I think the problem is the issue has been going on longer than I'd like to think... so there are lots of fleas hatching off the carpet.
Did find this, so that should give me some info on where to start. :)

my dog has got fleas and now he is living outside , i am now concentrateing on my house and trying to get rid of them in my home , i have been to the vets a payed ex amounts on sprays and nothing working .
Any outher ideas ?
