Seen and Not Heard

Children should be seen and not heard. Silence is a woman's best garment. Aren't proverbs great? But I'm done with being quiet.

Who Rules the World?

I'm going to Utah next week. A conference of Law Enforcement Database users and admins, in a Mormon town. What could be more fun?

I have always hated checking bags. Putting everything on carry-on is like a personal challenge for me. Unfortunately, things have changed... so I was checking online to see what is still banned from carry-on.

Liquids and gels are still banned, so I'll have to check my bag. I was rather amused by one of the things NOT banned however... Things like baby formula, liquid prescription medicine (if the name on the prescription matches the name on the ticket), KY jelly...

Now, either KY has more uses than I'm aware of... or the Mile High Club is the organization that secretly runs the world! Screw the Illuminate and the Stone Masons, the Mile High Club are the one's with the real power! "Gel-filled bras and similar prostethics" being on the allowed list just cinches the deal for me...

Ok, I'm being silly, but it's really early in the morning, and I was amused.

You know, I find it somewhat disturbing that this particular subset of liqui-gel items is OK to carry onto a plane.

Maybe they figure that Islamic terrorists are just too prudish to try to smuggle stuff that way.

Or maybe the Secretary of Homeland Security is a Mile High kind of guy.
