New Computer

I'm finally getting a new computer. FedEx tried to deliver yesterday, but no one was home. They actually want me to sign a piece of paper so they can leave a $2000 computer out in front of my house. Now, my neighborhood seems pretty good, but that does NOT seem like a good idea to me. Thankfully the FatMan is ok with going in to work late. I only hope they deliver early. Yesterday was around 9am.

To give some idea of why I'm excited... lets compare my current computer with the new one.

Old Computer:

RAM: 512MB (upgraded to 1GB)
Video: 64MB Nvidia GForce 3 (upgraded to 256MB Nvidia GForce 6200, but still only AGP)

New Computer:
Dell XPS 410
Ship Date: 10/9/2007
Processor: Quad Core 2.4GHz (the same, GHz, isn't that funny?)
RAM: 4GB
Video: 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
Monitor: 22" Widescreen LCD
Hard Drive: 350GB
